The era of the Grumman Gulfstream G-159 is nearing its end. Of the 200 built, there is believed to be only 2 left flying worldwide. They are in South Africa. The end is near. While there are a good number of airframes still around, the cost of making one airworthy is just not viable any longer. The G-159 Historical Research Museum was formed to preserve the history of all 200 Grumman Gulfstream G-159 aircraft. The newest G-1 is over 50 years old and there were 200 built. This represents 10,000 years of history to research. One of our goals here is to have an image of every construction and registration number. Note about the site, this is a working virtual museum that is constantly undergoing revisions and updates. As such, some sections may not be working at the time a visit is made.
